Terms & Conditions – The Lucky Goat
By accessing or using the services, facilities, or events provided by The Lucky Goat, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions (“T&C”). Please read them carefully.
1. General Terms
1.1 Acceptance
By entering or using The Lucky Goat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these T&C.
1.2 Age Restrictions
All patrons must be at least 18 years old to enter. Valid photo ID may be required. If valid photo ID cannot be presented, Management reserve the right to refuse entry to the venue and no refunds will be issued.
1.3 Right of Admission
The Lucky Goat reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any person at its discretion, without liability or refund, for behaviour deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive. To keep all our guests’ safe, The Lucky Goat reserved the right to conduct security searches upon entry.
1.4 Responsible Behaviour
All guests are expected to act respectfully toward staff and other patrons. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour is strictly prohibited. Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any individual or group perceived to be under the influence of drugs or drunk or behaving in a manner which is threatening to our staff or other patrons. In such circumstances, any bookings made will not be honoured and refunds will not be issued to groups displaying the aforementioned behaviour.
Any inappropriate behaviour within the venue may result in the group being ejected from the venue, and any behaviour which results in the damage of The Lucky Goats’ venue will mean the full repair cost will be the responsibility of said guests.
2. Events & Bookings
2.1 Booking Policy
Package bookings:
All package bookings must be paid in full prior to the booking date, with final payment being made at least 30 days’ prior.
If full payment is not received prior to the event, The Lucky Goat reserves the right to cancel the booking. No refund will be issued.
Changes to group sizes must be made at least 30 days prior to the booking date; for any changes made after this time, activities, food and drink spend may be reallocated to the rest of the group but no refunds will be issued.
No changes for food and drink can made to any bookings 24 hours in advance.
An increase in numbers is subject to availability; we cannot guarantee we can always increase your group size.
Some changes to group size may result in a change of activity or private hire space; this will be on a case-by-case basis, and your booking agent will confirm this with you.
Changes to the booking date must be made at least a minimum of 30 days’ in advance and confirmed in writing- a new date is subject to availability and management discretion.
No changes can be made to the package inclusions, however The Lucky Goat is happy to accommodate dietary requirements and any other reasonable adjustments
Reservations for private events must be made in advance.
If you require a VAT receipt, please contact your bookings agent who will be able to provide one for your pre-booked package; till receipts cannot be obtained post-event and must be procured on the night itself.
The Lucky Goat does not charge additional fees for credit or debit card payments on bookings, but please be aware that our booking provider may charge a handling fee on certain card types/company cards.
The Lucky Goat reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events as outlined in our force majeure clause; in such cases, reasonable notice will be provided.
Minimum spends:
If applicable, the guest agrees to the minimum spend as outlined in the booking contract and acknowledges that they are responsible for achieving the minimum spend.
Minimum spends must be used fully on the event itself and are not transferable, refundable, exchangeable for another date or redeemable against takeaway food and drink.
Minimum spends are pre-agreed and cannot be changed or reduced if numbers to your booking change or reduce.
Lateness:
To ensure you get the most from your booking, we recommend you arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to your booking time.
You will be allocated specific gaming times, and as much as the team will try and accommodate any latecomers on the day, we cannot guarantee you’ll be able to play in another slot later on.
We are unable to add additional time onto packages if your booking is late, therefore please note that your booking will end on the time as stated in your booking confirmation.
If you are running late, please call the venue on XXX ahead of time, as this will help us to try and accommodate your booking at a later time.
Late bookings which cannot be accommodated at a later time on the day are not eligible for refunds/reschedules.
2.2 Behaviour During Events
The Lucky Goat reserves the right to remove anyone for unsafe, illegal, or disruptive conduct.
Any property damage caused during an event will be charged to the responsible party.
3. Cancellation and Refunds
For package bookings, we request 50% of the package payment upfront with the remaining balance payable 30 days prior to your event.
Cancellation terms for package and private hire bookings are as follows:
61 days or more prior to the booking date: The Lucky Goat will issue 100% refund on cancelled bookings
60-31 days prior to the booking date: The Lucky Goat will issue 50% of the final amount as a refund but will not refund the initial 50% deposit
30-0 days: The Lucky Goat will retain all funds as an 100% cancellation fee
For activities only, all activities are payable upfront and non-refundable.
For activity only bookings, any booking unable to be attended must be rescheduled a minimum of 48 hours prior to the booking date and is subject to availability. Bookings may only be rescheduled once and cannot be refunded.
All reservations are subject to the terms and conditions as outlined in section 2 of the terms and conditions.
Changes are subject to availability. No refunds are available for reduced party sizes.
4. Force Majeure
4.1 Definition
The Lucky Goat shall not be liable for failure to perform any obligation where such failure results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, storms)
Fire or explosion
Acts of war or terrorism
Power outages or technical failures
Government restrictions, acts, or regulations
Strikes
Epidemics or pandemics
4.2 Effect on Events
In the event of force majeure affecting scheduled events, The Lucky Goat may:
Reschedule or cancel the event
Refund deposits at its discretion
Transport strikes
In the event of a transport strike, such as train, tube etc, the booker acknowledges that it is their responsibility to inform The Lucky Goat of any date changes necessary at least 14 days’ prior to the original date (where possible).
Bookings impacted by strike action may be eligible for a reschedule of their event within 4 weeks’ of the original booking date, but are not eligible for a refund.
A rescheduled booking cannot be rescheduled again, and cannot be refunded.
Any booking which is impacted by strikes is still bound by the cancellation clauses; ie, no changes to group size etc can be made 14 days’ prior to the booking event.
5. Alcohol & Intoxicants
5.1 Service of Alcohol
Alcohol will only be served to those of legal drinking age with valid ID.
The Lucky Goat reserves the right to refuse service to anyone deemed intoxicated or behaving inappropriately.
We reserve the right to stop serving alcohol to anyone who appears intoxicated and may ask them to leave the premises for their own safety and the safety of others.
All drinks purchased may be consumed onsite; The Lucky Goat are unable to permit drinks (unopened or otherwise) to be taken away or consumed off the premises.
5.2 Drugs & Illegal Substances
The possession or use of illegal substances on The Lucky Goat premises is strictly prohibited. Violators will be removed and may be reported to authorities.
6. Photography & Media
6.1 Consent
By entering the premises or attending events, guests consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. The Lucky Goat may use such media for promotional purposes without compensation.
6.2 Restrictions
Professional photography or recording for commercial purposes requires prior approval from management.
7. Complaints & Dispute Resolution
● Complaints should be addressed to management promptly.
● The Lucky Goat aims to resolve disputes amicably.
8. Changes to T&C
This Agreement may be updated periodically by posting revised terms on the Site. Any such updates will apply to all Users from the moment they are published. Your continued use of the Site and/or the Service constitutes your acceptance of these updates or any other changes. We are constantly innovating and improving the Service to enhance your experience, and you acknowledge and agree that the Service’s features and functionality may change from time to time without prior notice.
